This typically spud performance from the Aus line up pretty much explains why Smith absolutely has to play in T20s even though i'd rather he didn't.

I would get funky and swap Smith/Stoinis with Warner/Finch. As in open with Smith and Stoinis, Warner and Finch at 5 and 6. Need to shake things up

NZ collapsing in a heap worthy of their opposition. 81/2 in the 9th over turns into 105/9 by the end of the 15th.

Afghanistan batsmen with their typical boom or bust strategy. It's clicking for them today so far.

Notes on the games I have seen

1. Dear Kane Williamson & selectors

Persistence has its own rewards but persisting with Southee & Jamieson as death bowlers will result in your team's premature death in the tournament.

2. Getting a bit ahead of myself - India taking the right steps to win their 2nd t20 world cup

3. WI - Why do you bother to play?

4. SAF - Where is Tabraiz Shamsi?

Height of persistence is continuing to trust Santner.

Guptil (and the last 2) aside the NZ batting looked bad.

Woakes one terrible over may have cost him his place in the side. The fact Willey was rested suggests he's going to play on Saturday?

Thought Mills bowled pretty well.

Jordan given just the 2 overs at the death suggests he might be not selected.
