Latham didn’t even bother playing the Super Smash this season, I actually thought he must have retired from t20s.

Not sure about the WI A but saw him hole out a pull shot off a rank short ball from Rippon on the last day of a 4 day game to deep square leg. Watched that live at Basin. Looks like the kid can only hit good balls for fours and sixes Just on the positive note that six off Shakib was one for the coaching manual. Lovely use of feet, left the crease late, quick feet, got to the pitch of the ball and gun barrel straight 90 meter six. That was some shot but got out to a not so good ball. The kid has been like this in super smash as well. Plays some unbelievable shots but then gets out to **** balls. Remember him hitting an absolute half tracker from Devcich at Basin in a super smash as well down the sq leg's throat. That Rachin dismissal. Although unlucky it kept low... but, reminded me a bit of a dismissal of his v Windies A last summer. Terrible leg side long hop that he tried to hit out of the entire stadium.
Don't try too hit them so hard.
Yeah, I can't find it. Tried to look up the video. Must have a scrambled memory. Not sure about the WI A
Was reportedly clocked in the 138-145 range in the Supersmash final. Reckon he has the potential to nudge 150 if he can hit 145 with his current physique, surprised he doesn’t get blown away by your average northerly at the Basin. Still hope to see more of him, will make for some good “The chad Jamieson vs the virgin Sears” memes when the two of them play together.Would like to see more of sears, one over is a bit of waste. Bowled 0ne delivery at 140 the rest at bout 125. Anyone know what is generally normal for him? As most of the seamers seemed to be holding pace back.

True but he's a very good player of spin. I've been following for a long time and he feels very much at home playing spin. Even on tougher decks. He's not afraid to go after them and has mean reverse sweep. I think he opened his account in international cricket with a reverse sweep. Takes some courage. Will be stunned if Allen makes many runs. These conditions couldn’t be less conducive to his style of play.
I’d say Allen for one of the pacers (Bennett ideally). The XI needs all the batting it can get.I reckon Finn Allen to come in for Blundell tonight. Thoughts?
