India have bowled us out for 105 before on a flat Auckland pitch. I think you can apply some pressure if you apply speed wobbles early.

Pathetic from the lower order as usual. I think the Rahane dismissal was key. He would have been the perfect batsman to fight it out with the tail and was unlucky to be dismissed down the leg side. Other than that it's been a poor batting effort. Kohli has yet another failure in a big game.

Whatever it takes!!!
The balance between good and bad for most cricketers today in the T20 age is always so amplified and so much of rocks or diamonds performances happen because of that. We always need to keep that in mind with the great performances we see today. The ceiling is higher but the depths are lower too.

Great work NZ to see off India’s recovery, but looks like Ishant and Shami will be a handful to face.

Boult's cheap wickets don't change the fact that Jamieson as our best bowler needs to be bowling at Ishant and Shami right now

Hopefully reserve days become more common after this, especially for tests in England. It's turned this match from a washout into a really interesting game.

They've been doing it the whole match and not in a funny/enjoyable way. Pretty poor really.
Yeah impossible to call it any other way. I mean, every time I have been to a test in India, its always about India. Either we are praised or cussed, but opponents are usually left alone. I mean, there were the Symonds incidents but other than that I feel they can be pretty normal for visitors. This is piss poor.

We were like 160/6 yesterday but pushed to 240+ minor hope for India to see if they can at least put 20+ runs

Tbh, with the pressure of the situation, this isn't too far from being in 'Tricky Chase' territory imo, especially if the new ball gets a wicket or two. And whilst there certainly isn't run rate pressure in the traditional sense of the phrase, if India hang around a bit more and score a few more, NZ will have to go at what would be a relatively high rate compared to what we've seen so far in the match.
