Hopefully can pick up two or three wickets early, their top four rates 64k+ (!!)

Well no wickets with the new ball (guess chucking it to 46-pot but still young Arnold was a bit of a waste) so gonna be very very tricky here to defend 220, they're 50/0 already a quarter of the way through.

Marita made a good if somewhat nervy 66 and van Heerdens blasted a quickfire 51. Last six wickets fell for two runs though

tbf the dude you played is a contender for the 50-over senior title, no shame in losing that match imo

this is big oof (even dropped a bonus point) but oh well, was kinda to be expected on a green wicket with clouds that it'd get easier to chase on. On the bright side I have a playoff for fourth and a bit of cash next week.

An unlikeliest of victories for ZCC today. Grubs hits 76* off 62 to inspire us to a 2-wicket win over the title contenders (who are now no longer in the running).

Not enough to budge us out of last place in the table, but a pleasant surprise nevertheless. Good signs for our Div 2 run next season.

Dynamo conceded 245/8 and it will truly be a chase for the ages. Sammy Payne's wrist spin kept us in it, taking four for 29 despite being asked to bowl at the death. Vermaak and Venter had their way with compatriot v/d Westhuizen.

It’s confirmed guys, Round 2 of the clash between the youths of GG CC and Moooo takes place tomorrow at 10:00am (my time). Will be hoping for a better fight from my guys.
Last week Tauseef Nazar took a hat trick on his way to a five wicket haul…but the batsmen didn’t turn up.

I’m excited for this contest tomorrow. I wanted to play some guys today in Dev league but couldn’t submit the order in time.

Schmaltzberg collapsed in a heap to 207. The Phil Inn took 2/34. Captain Steenkamp will have to take responsibility for that one, played an intemperate shot at 188/5 just as the team was rebuilding.

Literally no impact on log positions thankfully.

Had a Dev match vs @JOJOXI Sunday evening Stumped time. A 99-run Ghous Saadi (36 off 71) and Rusty Frost (65 off 65) opening partnership encompassed half of my innings. Frost's score was his second-highest in 72 innings. The AXI innings then fizzled out. Kurt Murdoch managed 40 (37) but spinners combined on an 85 moisture pitch for 9-90 (16.5) to destroy my long tail. Rauf Shoaib (4-24) was particularly impressive. 193 all out.

Apart from Ben Eustace (45 off 57) and Jacob Jennings (39 off 68) there wasn't much of note for WCC. Faisal Jawad made 19 (24) from #8 before being run out, but no one else got past 5. As such, Winton collapsed to 133 all out, Steve Ludlow with 4-21 and Isaac Loring with 3-23. The 60-run win against a side 4K ahead of me was made possible by the opposition seamers getting no wickets.

My Dev match was a bot-bash. 223 all out, Shawn Dee (54 off 69), Kurt Murdoch (63 off 55), prospect Richard Simmonds (32 off 28). The bot's collapse to 92 all out was predictable. Rusty Frost was the star with 3-4.

My team balance is now 17 players, 12 Dev. Looking to upgrade my side with better prospects than my seemingly endless list of 41 pot players. Austin Hyde sold for an $8K gain, turned into a bad coach, back on TM... I grabbed Jasper Davey for cheap, will be an awesome player for my side.
