I forgot again to post on Schmaltzberg v Orangutans. . Maybe you should start that affiliate in Zimbabwe, cos that first lot you drew was bad.
I'm actually happy with the opening team I got (short of batting but that I feel is always true!) and a few bought acquisitions since... they just need a lot of development! Unfortunately the scouting has been horrendous since my first week. Not even marketable!

Still no wicket against Schmaltzberg, feel if MTO's don't make a break through soon Schmaltzberg gonna canter this easily!

16 skill increase, no decrease particularly considering that 2 off my coaches are still on courses.

What is disappointing is that after 2 weeks of coaching and wicket keeping in every game Mthombeni has still not increased his skill beyond 1 yet!

He was my first (possibly second) acquisition, for $1000. Tends to hold my batting together in middle order and takes wickets in the middle innings. One of the few players that does not need any major development. But is getting rest from T20's from now on, as his condition is not great!

And that is a 2nd wicket!

Always finds on the market.

Tinaze Msuthu is on sale....no room at Schmaltzberg, even with their famously well stocked inns. A new ball bowler with 19 pot movement and RMF.

And Burger gets an impatient Fraser to swipe to Kock. Extra bike rounds for that lad.

GG CC handily outrated my full-strength side, which I was rather surprised to see. Their captain Ernst Levy hit 47 (48) and nabbed an important wicket. Peter Sutherland was terrific, with 83 (77) and 3 wickets. Cornelius Human's 71 (56) and Riaan de Villiers' 35* (32) brought GG CC to a very good total of 282-8. Rusty Frost got 3-47 and Afzal Mohiuddin got 3-56. Isaac Loring, normally a reliable Dev wicket-taker, was hit at 12 an over.

There was an encouraging partnership between Frost (51 off 60) and Kurt Murdoch (62 off 58) but mine's a weak middle order and Sebastian Plaatjies absolutely destroyed it with 6-34. 195 all out was 87 runs short and GG CC got a huge win I wasn't expecting. Well played. Also lol at specialist bat at 9.

In other news, I had 11 skill increases this week. Pretty meh.

ZCC taking a gamble with their OD league game today. Spinning deck, young Tim Chester likely to come in to bat at 8 and bowl 6 overs of spin to support Luke Giddings. Worked vs FHK a while back, so let's see.
