Chahar's IPL record is one of a very expensive bowler ... let's see what happens here.

cheating poms

That was 6 . Clearly not out. Pathetic from umpires
The umps are scared of the reactions from English players/press. Funny how Archer was moaning about that wide ball(which was really wide) on the second last ball. You just got a wicket when the batsman has hit a six a moment ago. We need neutral umpires for these overreactions to stop.

At least if the decision is against India Kohli will jump and shout a little and that's it

India looks like a weak white ball team.
Nope, our full-strength team looks really strong. I would say the only problem is the selection of our spinners. Ash/Jaddu/Axar/Kuldeep should be selected ahead of Chahal/Washi. Battingwise, it's a shame they kept denying SKY an opportunity, but his inclusion makes the team look more solid.

Good that Shardul got exposed as a poor limited overs bowler. He is not too bad IMO, but we have better options.

Also, let's not forget that the English team is just excellent in power plays(both with the bat and ball). Archer and Wood are so damn good. And Buttler and Roy can absolutely smash the bowlers when the field is in.

Gareth Batty said on commentary that Roy isn't so much of a thinker, more of an instinct guy. Sometimes that comes across. Never seems to go on in this format.

If you want to hit the big scores you need some level of strategy and game awareness.

Jesus Christ this is garbage. Every batsman has just chipped the ****ing ball in the air.

Also, I hope India loses the toss and bowls with the wet ball again in the next game. Bowlers need to get comfortable with bowling with the wet ball so that we don't get smoked in a knockout game "due to dew" after losing the loss.

yeah we should plan for dew at least 6 months away for a wc that might not even happen

Huge win for India, now they know they can beat England even batting first but England cannot afford to experiment and try and bat first if they win the toss in the decider, advantage India going into the decider

Whatever it takes!!!
Considering Indian viewers have been saddled with Siva for more than fifteen years (though he has pull with Srinivasan), how long do you reckon we have to put up with Kartik and Das Gupta? Agarkar's innocuous and chilled out but these two sound argumentative and full of themselves. Presentation's obviously abysmal all-round.
AA is awful.. Another Manjrekar in the making. DDG is awesome. Kartik and Siva are fine when talking about spin and even otherwise, they are boring af but inoffensive. Which is still better than most commentators going around.

Kishan might play next game over Rahul & if India wins toss then I'd say India will take away the series as well. Rahul Chahar was impressive with the amount of dew as Kohli said it was pouring down tonight. Quicker through the air & bowls fast leg breaks.. Upgrade over Chahal certainly.
Rohit
Kishan
SKY
Kohli
Iyer
Pant
Pandya
Sundar
Shardul
Bhuvi
R Chahar

That's a formidable XI Tbh.

This is a great win for India. With the ridiculous amount of dew out there when India were bowling, this is as good as winning with 140 on the board in normal conditions.

The stupid and baseless hatred of Virat aside, it was good to see very good strategies put in place today. Hardik with the new ball, Chahar was a good addition (you should put down at least 15 runs due to the dew to a spinner's analysis in a second innings like this) and overall there was more purpose to the bowling effort today, which I loved.

Our ideal T20I side would be -

Rohit
Rahul/Ishan (wk)
Virat/Shreyas
SKY
Jaddu
Hardik
Tewatia
Sundar
Bhuvi
Bumrah

If another good option for #5/6 emerges, ideally someone who can bowl, then we can slot them in at 6 after Jaddu and keep that entire MO floating depending on game situation. Hopefully SKY has also been bowling a lot in domestics, need a part timer in that top 5.

If India would have been 2-2 going into the fifth and decider in London in an away t 20 series, this 2:2 result would be gloated huge!! But it is a shame in home conditions. England or Great Britain or however they wish to be called (they banned me for a couple weeks calling them Brits) have done really well.

Didn't India win T20 series 2-1 in ENG in 2018 ?

India has lost more T20Is at home rather than away in last 4 years.. The IPl experience of away teams makes it harder for Indian team to beat them in India. Still we got a great record in bilateral T20Is. Beating Eng in a T20 series would be huge before WC.
