A good example of mental strength is Virender Sehwag, he used to try and smash everything and "not care about the game situation" but then also had a big cry when he didn't get his 100 because of a no-ball.

Cooper just hit 3 6's in a row off Sears to bring up 50. The matches being livestreamed is nice, just wish there was some sound!

42 over match, ND looking on the way to a good score. Hopefully see some Finn Allen magic again today.

Cooper hitting bombs. 42 overs game today. Sears hit for like 3 in a row. Can't wait to see what Allen will do today on a smallish ground at Seddon.

The reason for so many runs at Basin recently was because the pitch they used was at the far end meaning one side of the wicket was like 50 meters or less. Looks like this is going to be similar.

Pitch looks flat too, Carter out. Interesting of ND to send in Hampton, but 10 runs off 2 balls shows why they rate his hitting. Curious why they didn't send in CdG though.

Sears back in the attack. Him vs Fisher will be interesting today. Both rapid but with some control issues, the classic tearaway young quick.

In and out for a Golden.

Watching it live, Sears bowled a serious bumper to BJ which he fended awkwardly. Fielder must have dropped looking at the super annoyed Sears. Even Cooper nearly 100 fending the short ones from Sears.

He's looked abysmal so far. Probably only timed one ball in his innings (which admittedly went for a massive 6). Lots of swinging and missing and should've been caught last over.

Ford Trophy finals today ND v Canterbury. Jeet Raval is the second highest scorer in this year's ford trophy. Quietly trying to make a come back to the Black Caps side? Rain is expected from 6 p.m. Will Williams with most wickets sitting at 18.

Fisher's bowling action looks quite different to the U19s days. Looked up kippax's a to z video from back then. Seems to be just his front arm, doesnt bring that across his face anymore.

Blocky rated Walker and I can see why. A seriously good spell. Would love to see ND try Raval or Cooper given how much more effective spin has been here. Fisher and Verma are just getting smacked around.

Canterbury too good again. Probably helped by ND taking out Wellingtown in the semi. Gotta say, it the t20 team had actually decent players in it surely you'd have one of Nicholls, Latham or Mitchell?

Any chance of Colin coming into the T20 side at 7 for Jamieson until fergo is fit? Finding 4 overs between him and neesh shouldn't be too hard and it means your not batting santner @7 and Southee @8.
