FWIW, I dont think any of the stumpings were out. But given how the third umpiring has been with the Rahane non-dismissal and then that Joe Root hawkeye junk, it does make sense to add more tools for the third umpire.
I looked at them both numerous times and I wasn't sure.

I felt the umpire was too fast on the second without looking at other angles. For an example stump cam.

Which he did on the first one which actually made it look out whereas the side on was too hard to tell.

I'm just thinking of the Rohit ones. Don't think there were any others.

Whatever it takes!!!
it's not really at the batsman when he's already played his shot though. I think it's probably just an annoying nervous habit he has. Just his way of burning off excess energy.
Very Marnus and Steve Smith like but with his keeping, seems reasonably fine when batting, for some reason. Definitely has heaps of nervous energy floating around.

What in the world is Gavaskar wearing? He looks like a pimp trying out for a role in Charlie and the chocolate factory.

Yeah fair enough. I feel they were close enough that a zoomed version could have shown a different result but based on what we saw, I think the decisions were the right ones. Whether he made them too fast is a different discussion.

They were 70/2 last game too before it went south. Dont think this is a pitch for collapses though. I was hoping Crawley could have gritted through the Axar spell as he is the one with the natural shots to put the pressure back on the bowlers. With Stokes and Bairstow, you can see they are playing riskier shots and are also kinda pre-determining their attacking and defensive strokes to balls. The reason I rate Crawley is that he seems to have a natural tempo to his batting and is not predetermining whether he wants to play an aggressive shot or a defensive shot. But he was quite the opposite of that today. :(

Gavaskar is an unpleasant little gnome to listen to these days. I get the occasional fighting comment (well, no, I don't really), but the palpable sense of glee/schadenfreude in his voice as he rubs it in is awkward to sit through.
As a commentator, he never gives enough credit to the opposition players. Even if they score a century or pick five wickets, he'll not shower enough praise on them. It's kind of dishonest IMO, sure we'll always be biased towards our own players, but you have to bring some level of neutrality when you are commentating on the game.

Protection is for wimps, gotta risk the infection to get that affection.

TJB said that in 2018 but I don't know if i believe it

Ah, impact outside. Can see why they took it though, it was going on to hit for sure. And was inches outside the line.
