He was used as a lower order biffer by various teams and bowled lots of overs. In the last few years he had batted at 5 or 6 and that average is going up rapidly.

This is particularly impressive as his weakness is off spin bowling and he has played it really well. I'm impressed. I'd like to see him take Chase's spot in the team.

I actually don't really like it. I prefer Nayeem's. What actually comes out the end of it seems better though.

I have a bit of a history of picking the wrong career trajectory for U19 off spinning allrounders, but yeah I thought Miraz was going to be a batting allrounder for sure.
