4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Shri

Mr. Glass
Like the one you have already come up with for Australia there? BTW, What's your excuse for Australia not being able to give us the thrashing you promised us at Sydney?
will be surprised if australia go on a 20 year phaseof dominance again like they did in the 90s to the end of 00s

the system that enabled that is in tatters thanks to brain dead management throughout the country at all levels

every youngster who knows how to hold which end of the bat to hold is pushed up too quickly whereas people in the mid to late twenties finally got to represent australia in the old days except for exceptional players who formed the core of their dominant sides

australia are basically ****ed for the foreseeable future and we will bring the lube to brissy

Sundar being picked isn't pretending he's in the best XI available - if Ashwin's out, it's purely a hedge against one of the quicks getting injured or Kuldeep going the distance. Like, if India spend 120+ overs in the field and Kuldeep's getting hammered or Saini's hamstring goes, it's pushing a lot of overs through Siraj in back-to-back Tests. And Rohit's about the only one in the top six that's ever bowled. And he's terrible.

He's probably liable to make about as many runs as Saha at 7 (i.e. not many), so really comes down to whether you think whether the step up in glovework outweighs extra bowling, or vice versa.

At the risk of buying back into the Ashwin #canbat meme because of one 30-odd in the face of years of underperformance, maybe he bats 7 if he's fit.

Whatever it takes!!!
How many is it now been injured by getting ? Shami, jadeja, Pant iirc. Plus a couple of others tagged in the nets. 74/75 stuff
Shami's was the only one really that was tough to negotiate. Jaddu's was just a bit of bad luck and a bit of bad technique in dropping the hands. He should have worn it on the chest. Pant's was due to the vagaries of the pitch and I have no idea what is happening in the nets, but I do remember Bumrah injured 3D Shankar and Kedhar Jadhav out of the WC side by bowling at them in the nets.

Learn to play bounce ffs. It’s like the 70s all over again. Thank Christ there hasn’t been a test in perth. It would have been seven a side

Like the cut of your jib trundler. Don't give in. Keep nagging away. Never allow the possiblity that you were wrong to ever enter your mind. You have a bright future for a 45 year old pretending to be a kid from Pakistan.
This is oddly comforting

Trying to keep Shri out tbh. I mean, look at the dribble he’s come up with in the past few minutes in this thread.
Heh, my offers are in Melbourne. If Shri ever lands in Sydney again I'll fly up and drink him under the table.
