Have to agree. Doesn’t matter how you get through Southee and Boult if you can do so with minimal damage, which they have so far. They are looking to put the odd loose ball they get away, a sensible approach.Good start from Pakistan I'd say, especially considering their longer batting lineup now. They haven't shut up shop and are looking to score and are almost through the opening spell from Southee & Boult.
Have to disagree. The ball is nibbling around a lot and seems to be either catching the edge or going past it at least once per over. 250 is about par I reckon.Pak doing alright. Not playing like a bowl first wicket. Not a fan of Santner but Mitchell never looks like taking a wicket. You could play Conway and just ask Williamson and Taylor to turn their arm over if needed.
Pakistan have been lucky at times, par for the course in these conditions. Don’t think NZ have bowled that well though, been a bit inconsistent and trying too much when keeping it simple would help.Have to disagree. Totally agree, the selections of Henry and especially Mitchell are very strange. I thought we had moved past the "bits and pieces" cricketers.Pak doing alright. Not playing like a bowl first wicket. Definitely something in the wicket but I think the surface New Zealand got 400+ on against the Windies was far livelier. Few hours in it was still playing tricks.Have to disagree.
