No it genuinely is. Stay out of Kuta and it’s legit amazing. Grabbed a villa in Seminyak with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, a home theatre, a chef, a 24/7 security guard and a butler and it was only $750 per night to sleep 10. Do it!

Seminyak has an awesome eat street too. Quality

Separate thread, but Seminyak is also a shithole (IMO), but definitely better than Kuta - basically, about 95% of Bali below Kuta and the airport is crap (and Ubud is massively overrated but there are nice spots cos it's a big region).
Much of the rest of rural Bali is great - West Bali national park, the volcanoes and lakes up north and in the East.

Seminyak does have great food though!

Yeah pretty much agree with most of this tbh. Ubud is definitely over rated for sure. Fun for a day trip but as someone not really into the spiritual side of things it loses me a bit. And yeah the mountains are ****ing awesome. The whole joint could genuinely be one of the best places in the world if it wasn’t for trash Aussies tbh

There’s no emotion in this mate; after having played the game for 5 years and then following it for 20 more all over the world as a viewer, I’ve developed a cricketing logic part of the mind that makes observations without being clouded by feelings.

Certainly interested to see how this plays out. At first I was thinking the indiscretion of eating indoors as opposed to outdoors (as the players are allowed) wouldn't warrant a game off but they could be in more trouble.
