Hadlee also played for Tassie, while Viv and Botham played for Queensland.
I try not to include internationals in my state sides. Otherwise Queensland becomes:

Hayden
Brown
Viv
G Chappell
Border*
Botham
Healy+
Lindwall
Harris/ McDermott
Johnson/Thompson
Ironmonger

Simpson

Bradman*
Smith
Waugh/McCabe
Miller
Imran
Oldfield+
Lindwall
Davidson
O'Reilly

12th Man: Benaud

Think everyone there was mainly an NSW player too.

It's so wrong seeing Border in a NSW side. It's like seeing Inglis in a NSW origin jersey - it's just wrong.

Don't think Miller was a bowling all rounder at all. Batted #5 more than anywhere else and averaged over 40 there. Good conversion rate and a great FC batting record to go with it. But yeah, nobody needs 5 frontline options but if 2 of them can easily bat top 7 and 2 more are supercharged #8s, I'd say pick em all. Almost tempting to throw Benaud in there.

Can’t leave Hick out of a Worcestershire XI, however mediocre he was for England.
a-bloody men

He has a case for an all-time county XI IMO, maybe not at 3 but yeah somewhere in the middle order. If we're talking exclusively county performances he's right up there with the very best

If we are just doing played for the county at some point then Hampshire:

Gordon Greenidge
Barry Richards
Hashim Amla
David Gower
Kevin Pietersen
Michael Clarke
Nic Pothas
Wasim Akram
Malcolm Marshall
Shane Warne
Dale Steyn

The keeper is the big name there obviously.

Love that the opening partnership was actually a real life one.

I do remember watching Wasim play for Hampshire but it was a few games right at the end of career, Steyn and Amla only played a handful as well, I actually had to check the latter because I thought I might have imagined it. A real Hampshire team would have Robin Smith, Andy Roberts, Phil Mead and a fair few others. Still not even any of them are actually from the county.

When thinking about county sides, the obvious team to look at would be Yorkshire. I'll leave that for someone else and name a Somerset XI

M.Trescothick
C.Gayle
B.Azam
V.Richards
R.Richardson
J.Butler
I.Botham
B.Close
J.Garner
A.Caddick
V.Marks

Good side, but Martin Crowe should be ahead of both Richie Richardson and Babar Azam.
