On the topic of Camerons and suspect actions, anyone else think that Gannon has looked a lot better this year so far. Possibly even legal?
Pretty sure that he’s about 6’6” as there’s been discussions about how few test quality batsmen there’s been of his heightHow tall is cam green? Google says he's 184cm but turner's 191 cm and green is noticeably taller than him in this pick https://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Ashton+Turner+Cameron+Green+WA+v+NSW+JLT+One+o_WETjduOJzl.jpg .
When he was made captain, the coach (Lehmann) had more recently made a FC ton.Tim Paine record is bizarre. 33 fifties and only 2 hundreds, one of them a double
Ide says the selectors will throw him in as soon as he's bowling fluently again, purely as a batsman mad dog deserves a go before him but I don't know if the selectors will be able to say no if he's bowling.Overs/under on Green getting a baggy green this summer? Surely can't be too far off.
Yeah great temperament for an opener but his technique was a bit ehhh for it. I used to worry about his ability to rotate the strike against a softer ball when first coming in if he dropped down but he handled that really well in the BBL.I'm also backing the "Renshaw in the middle order" train. Never fully bought him as an opener, technique-wise, even though he did a decent job.
Yeah once he's bowling he's playing. As a pure bat there should be others still ahead of him but we're talking about someone for who that's a debate, who is 21 years old and good enough to play Shield as a bowler when fit.Ide says the selectors will throw him in as soon as he's bowling fluently again, purely as a batsman mad dog deserves a go before him but I don't know if the selectors will be able to say no if he's bowling.
Well I mean if he played for KKR the other night he can't be same bloke tonning for WA now.Niice. Yeah that offie played for KKR the other night, action looks rather dodgy.
You misunderstand. It was Border's way of saving Australian cricket yet again. His comments stirred Paine's loins and gave him the necessary fire in the belly to finally ton up and get into form for the thumping we're going to hand India.
