need parra and the roosters to go out in straight sets, the panthers to top south sydney next week and the raiders to do the same to the storm - that's what my ideal finals series looks like from this point on. you'd love to see it. penrith/canberra there come the big dance

Think Parra will beat Souths this weekend, and Canberra over the Roosters. Which basically ensures souths and Easts will go through.

parra put a better fight than expected up last night but ultimately class prevailed, gotta feel for gutho. absolutely loved to see mitch moses blow the game with a doink-in-to-near-try though, absolutely despise the little prick

need penrith to beat the souths, and then i'm happy with any three of the remainder winning. prefer penrith, then canberra, then melbourne though.

don't know if anyone picked this up last night by the way but gus kept referring to teams in the singular and it was really weird

"rabbitoh was just too good" as opposed to "the rabbitohs were..." and so on

How anyone could wish for a Melbourne win is beyond me. Every grub act in the NRL since the Mange's disgrace in 2002 has stemmed from Melbourne.

Wrestling in tackles - check
Slowing the play the ball - check
Chicken wings - check
Cannon balls - check
Crushers - check
Systemic salary cap cheating - check

Unreservedly the club which has had the worst influence on the game this century.

Kikau first try scorer into Wighton Clive Churchill

ok but news ltd seems to be trying to force cameron smith into retirement and it'd be pretty funny if he had a fairytale finish

Yeah, would love B Smith at Parra. Awesome player. Grant is terrific too
Both should go to the Titans and become gods.

Fogarty wouldn't waste service like Moses, I'm gonna say it. He's my god now.

Called Wighton at the start of the year for Dally M, so happy about that. Not sure he actually deserved it though, thought the king and Nafon had better years

wighton pretty fortunate tbh

burgey so ****in on point with that melbourne slowing the play of the ball call. the storm love taking a nap on a player and the refs are always too cowardly to call them on it.
