Hey there, I don't visit their site but we are using the XenForo platform which is one of the leaders in the forum market. Many sites use it, and vBulletin isn't what it once was with their new versions.Hey James, if this is the same set up as the one BigFooty (AFL) use (and I think it is) they have a yearly membership option that (amongst other things) gets rid of advertising for you on the forum completely.
I don't know if that'd be a viable thing here, but I'd happily pay a reasonable amount to not see advertising on CW.
Happy to hear suggestions for improvements.vbulletin was a design of heavenly creation and it has been spat out like a leper
There are 169 styles available from XenForo that we could look to apply on the site:James, can we try out some Xenforo theme that reduces the wasted space on both sides of the page layout? Also, dark blue page background (same shade as the old one used to be) instead of grey would be awesome, it would clearly delineate the gaps between posts. Thanks.
There should be a Warnings tab on your profile. How can one see their infraction points?
Can't see it....There should be a Warnings tab on your profile.
I'll find out from support and post back. Can't see it....
I've noticed this too actually, and have a support ticket open. One thing I didn't notice about the ads previously but I am encountering now is that they don't immediately pop on the page so I'll go to click on a link near the top of the page but the ad will appear in that space and i'll end up clicking the ad
This was actually happening to me on VB.One thing I didn't notice about the ads previously but I am encountering now is that they don't immediately pop on the page so I'll go to click on a link near the top of the page but the ad will appear in that space and i'll end up clicking the ad
Thanks, good to know. This was actually happening to me on VB.
This is no good imo. Posters should be able to see their points as well. Is only fair.
