SeamUp

International Coach
Some training kit for Notts.

After a shocking season 2019 there needs to be genuine growth of individuals and as a team. Once again their seam bowling depth and talent should be too much for division 2. Good speeds from youngsters in Barber, Blatherwick and Chappell supporting the senior 4 in Broad, Ball, Fletcher and overseas Abbas. Carter/Patterson-White their young spinners.

Haseeb Hameed
Ben Slater
Ben Duckett
Joe Clarke
Samit Patel
Sam Mullaney
Tom Moores
Stuart Broad/Matt Carter
Luke Fletcher/Tom Barber
Jake Ball/Jack Blatherwick
Mohammed Abbas/Zak Chappell

Reserve : Chris Nash, Ben Compton, Sol Budinger, Joey Evison, Lyndon James, Liam Patterson-White

Limited overs : Alex Hales, Dan Christian, Peter Trego, Harry Gurney

GoodAreasShane

Cricketer Of The Year
Probably will somewhat vaugely supporting Sussex when/if the season gets going, largely because of the South Australian connection in the form of Dizzy and Head

The E.C.B. have said that the English County Season will start on August 1st.

A meeting in early July will determine what formats will be played and how much of it will be played.
Regional 4 day & T20 cricket is planned with the possibility of a 50 over competition if one of the others is not played.

At least we should get some cricket now, even if there is no crowds allowed.

The E.C.B. have just announced that from 2021, two overseas players will be allowed per team in the County Championship and one day competitions, due to the termination of the Kolpak rule at the end of the season.

I wonder whether the likes of Abbott & Harmer may look to play for South Africa again, if the Proteas want them back of course.
You would obviously be an oversea player in County Cricket now and not a Kolpak, so some players may decided that they can afford to play for their country as well, which has been one of the main reasons players gave up international cricket.

Stuey really is the Beckham of cricket, makes everything look good.

anyway, is there a way Somerset can win a curtailed championship, one match against an Under-12's second XI, mind you we'd still find a way to screw that up probably.

Doubt anyone will want to join, but I am suffering Telegraph fantasy withdraws, so if anyone wants to join https://cricketxi.com/ UCIFISWU is the code.

I called it team as that is how many teams I expect.

Somerset have a young nasty fast bowler called Gilchrist, hopefully, he won't be quite as nasty as the other infamous Fast bowler called that.
