Might have to force myself to try and enjoy womens' cricket if we are actually as good at it as it seems we are

Women's Ashes starts in about two hours, looking forward to it. Think Australia look a quality team, Ellyse Perry is pretty much the Keith Miller of women's cricket

The women's Ashes series are always enjoyable. Would love to see some of the other teams play a similar format. Really sad that an NZ legend in Suzie Bates has never played a test.

Fantastic news for Amy Satterthwaite and Lea Tahuhu during the week: http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/cricke...take-a-break-from-cricket-to-have-first-child

I think our bowling depth is OK to cover whatever leave Tahuhu might take, but I have to admit to some concern over how we'll replace Satterthwaite's batting and captaincy.

Will Bates take the job back? She was pretty keen to get rid of it last time. Not sure if it's something Devine would be interested in taking on.

I'm pretty sure Amelia Kerr is a future skipper, but she's still only 18.

For a left-field pick, how about Frankie Mackay? Hasn't played a huge amount of international cricket lately, but seemed to do a great job with Canterbury last summer.

Bad news: The 2021 Women's ODI WC is going to be only 8 teams, with 4 teams automatically qualifying and another 4 being decided through the ongoing Women's Championship + a WC Qualifier Tournament

Fun News: India is not one of the teams that automatically qualifies and the internet does not like that
