9 bowling options! Batting all the way down to 10 - smash it in the power play, keep playing very aggressively with Fairbrother and Bevan to safely work 2s and 3s and allrounders just keep smashing it. Sehwag is the only left hander in the top 6 or perhaps CDG could be promoted if required.
Clive Lloyd wasn't a bad bowler in ODIs either, though he didn't bowl often. (Also, he batted left-handed).The Loss Leaders
1) Mark Waugh (RHB/OS)
2) Geoff Boycott (RHB/RM)
3) Upal Tharanga (LHB)
4) Greg Chappell (RHB/RM)
5) Clive Lloyd* (RHB)
6) Grant Elliott (RHB)
7) Mitchell Santner (LHB/SLA)
8) Luke Ronchi+ (RHB)
9) Malcolm Marshall (RHB/RF)
10) Damien Fleming (RHB/RFM)
11) Glenn McGrath (RHB/RFM)
Pretty happy with that seam attack; two genuine ATGs to take the new ball, very solid first change in Flemo and Chappell, G's and Boycs's mediums to get through a few middle overs if the pitch is doing anything.
Batting wise the plan is for Junior Waugh to add some early impetus and Sir Geoffrey to bat through. If Junior went early there's the flexibility to promote Elliott, Ronchi or Santner to take advantage of the fielding restrictions. Then there's the class of Greg and the Big Cat in the middle order engine room.
Bugger, you're quite right, of course. Duly edited.Clive Lloyd wasn't a bad bowler in ODIs either, though he didn't bowl often. (Also, he batted left-handed).
