Strange game that, both teams took their turn to try and throw it away, but in the end nobody has more experience of failure than the South Australians. Tremain really is a terribad death bowler, remember him losing a game for the Renegades in almost identical fashion 2-3 years back. Just put the wide yorker away Chris, you are no good at it.

Batting for the Cricket Australia XI in their one-day match against the touring England Lions side, Pucovski was attempting a quick single when, as he slid his bat in order to make his ground, his bat stuck in the turf next to the drop-in pitch.

As the bat jarred, Pucovski’s momentum meant he fell forward and landed heavily, hitting his head on the ground.

that's interesting because I felt that the Sam Harper incident happened in part because he was playing on a drop in pitch which meant he had to run closer to the stumps instead of just sliding on the other pitches on the square, which led to contact with the bowler

of course the other reason it happened is because the bowler stood in his way

Why won’t tendulkar put himself out for the first time in his life and actually play? All too much to ask for a bloke who was welcomed more than any other touring player I remember, and given standing o’s everywhere on his last tour. Such a typically selfish move by him
