Ay, that's the one thing i have sympathy with Buttler on. It's hard to score runs when the team is struggling as a whole and you are always under pressure, especially the style Buttler plays.Buttler would be an intimidating 6/7 if the top order could put on runs...
200 short given we won't get 270.Gotta wait for both sides to bat etc etc but this looks not even vaguely close to enough.
Like I keep saying, there must be a serious issue with the way FC batting is coached in England. This seems far too common amongst the talented bats England clearly have.Ay, that's the one thing i have sympathy with Buttler on. He's never really cracked the first class game though. Never quite understood how to bat in fc cricket. Never shown the aptitude that he has in limiited overs cricket in test cricket. He won't be a great loss when they drop him, as harsh as that seems.
Need the occasional below 100 score in there as well.We may as well never actually play a batting innings and just do a raffle of scores between 200-250.
Even if we get to 200-1 you know it;s going to end around there.
Bowling will probably just about see them through as it usually does at home. Will lose games though for sure.anyone fancy englands chances at home to the west indian and pakistani pace attacks?
