I would suspect they'll drop a few points once the CL starts up. They can afford to prioritise that now and rest players in the league.

There are just 12 fit first team players right now and a tough schedule awaits this month. The likes of Jose's spurs (a), man utd and wolves (a) being the next 3 PL fixtures. Not going to be easy until the likes of Fabinho, Matip and Keita return.

God they're 12 games off our unbeaten record.
I didn't get this when the commentators were talking about it last night as I was pretty sure your boys were unbeaten all season circa 2003. But thinking about it I guess you mean across two seasons?

I wonder who between Arteta and Bielsa will send out the most obscure Reserves XI on Monday night.

Well I've had a bit of this and that but now I'm home I think a fine claret will do the job. Up the ****ing whites, these are golden years

The last time Everton won at Anfield was 1999. Today will have been the biggest chance they've had in that time and they still blew it. Christ, what better chance could they have asked for?

I think even the Champions League comes a very distant 2nd to the Premier League in terms of priorities for Liverpool this season.
