I would like a good replay of Harper's throw. I suspect it is the very worst underarm throw ever at the stumps by a keeper

both jackson bird and jordan silk are very underated cricketers.

bird has been unlucky not to play more tests, 9 tests 34wkts@30. silk unlucky not to be given a chance at t20 level for aust.

also good to see that umpires are no longer giving LBWs in this tournament. we certainly don't want those pesky bowlers getting wickets do we.

It's sad for Bird that it's likely his last test will be that MCG superhighway that Starc got himself "injured" for against India. He's a better test bowler than that who deserves more than 9 tests but at this point he's far too far back in the queue.

Can you imagine if Bird was a kiwi? He'd be averaging 22 at home and the kiwis would be thinking he's the second coming of Hadlee despite him being perceived as a mid 130s trundler over here.

I guess this is a huge part of the reason I rate Wagner so highly. He purposefully built his game around the idea that despite New Zealand being tailor made for swing bowling 130 kph trundlers he would man up and take the conditions out off the equation by ignoring swing and seam and simply bouncing batsmen out. He has balls and bowls like a real man*.

*by South African standards he might be a wimp but they're all insane anyway.

No luck at all for Sabba with the timing of his injury, but hopefully he might be back for the finals. Poor bugger worked so hard to get back to international level then gets injured in this ****ing tourney.

He’s lucky that tests being five days long is what makes them test matches imho

Nice work.

Nick Kyrgios doing a similar thing - $250 per ace he serves all tennis summer. And he serves quite a few tbf. He's also got onto Tennis Aus to arrange an exhibition to raise some dough. All worthy stuff.

Be nice if the govt actually, you know, funded the relief effort adequately, but the Tory ****s never will.

Didn't know people even rated Abbott that much. Thought he was a bit of a no rounder with occasional moments. I always mix him up with Daniel Hughes when the sixers are in the field as they look alike

I must admit despite living in NSW all my life I find the Melbourne big bash teams way more interesting. This Stars cool kid kliq of Maxi, Zampa and Stoinis is what I like the most about domestic cricket atm
