I really hope he gets there. Here are a couple of stats:

The last 10 centuries by NZ openers: 9 to Latham, one to Raval.

Highest score by a Kiwi at the MCG is 99 for John Wright.

Correct, we have been flogged

It’s also very easy to tally up which way umpires call or totally wrong decisions have gone, which is about 6-2 or 7-2 Aus. Matter of fact/record.
Just review them then. I didn’t hear this wailing and gnashing of teeth when blundell was out on single figures. ****ing hell, Ian smith could umpire both ends and they still would have been smashed. Perspective, please.

Don't reckon it has tbh. Blundell got the umpiring luck while Williamson suffered.

If you want to be annoyed at any batting here look no further than Taylor, who in the second innings of both matches has come out and showed no willingness at all to graft. And De Grandhomme today too.

Mate of mine also getting absolutely roasted on Twitter for pointing out that Erasmus has gone with Australia like 5-0 on debatable lbw calls. It’s possible to get legitimately annihilated while not getting the calls, not that complicated.

Yeah did say before this tour Taylor needed to play the senior pro role and not phone it in like he's been prone to doing. Thought the 80 at Perth was a good sign but apparently not.

I just gave you the perspective, the way the decisions have gone plus the obvious reality that we are being destroyed. What are you struggling with?

What do you mean ‘reckon’? They show all these things on the TV.

Nobody's saying Australia wouldn't have smashed NZ regardless of the umpiring, no need to get so upset. We should all be united in our hate for poor umpiring.

Your tears don’t taste as sweet as they normally do.

I hope blundell gets this ton btw. He’s been terrific

The decisions don’t matter, as we have all been told.

I mean the umpiring standards haven't been amazing, but it's not like that's out of the ordinary (witness Day 1 at Edgbaston) and this is a lot of froth and bubble in this thread over a decision which didn't even stand.
