Yeah Fred isn’t the worst, he does get through a lot of work and his passing is inconsistent rather than properly bad. Looks a looong way from a £50m player but is still much better than Pereira.

Silva being sacked possibly the least surprising decision this week. Quite what Everton ever saw in him is beyond me, he's made a great living off about 10 good games at Hull.

I'm getting more and more drunk watching this (had to raid the questionable booze table as ran out of wine - ouzo at the moment), and the goal is really getting my goat

You just do not see good defences concede goals like that. Just a terrible bloody mess.

Sokartis, Luiz and Kolasinac with limbs all over the place, whilst simultaneously looking like they have no idea where they are. Like John Cena when he comes out for a wrestling match

There's no point getting nostalgic, and looking back is futile etc. But I am reminded of the days when Arsenal had Keown and Campbell at the bag, and conceding a goal like that was completely unthinkable.

These days I'm relieved if Arsenal can get through a game without making at least 3 significant defensive balls ups

Also, I really quite like Joe Willock. And really want him to be good. But I don't understand what he is meant to do

Can't believe there was even a debate about that offside

It was just so clear that he was, even in real time

Even Luiz himself knew it.

Did Keown and Campbell ever actually play together?

This is really grim. The team is 5 points off the relegation zone, and a good proportion of the points they do have were basically fluked earlier in the season. This is comfortably the worst state the team have been in since the Rioch days at least (and I barely remember those), maybe even beyond. Everything just looks so desperate.

You’d think they’d create more with all of Ozil, Auba, Lacazette and Pepe on the pitch at once.

Have been watching this more or less since the disallowed goal and there's only one team that's deserved to win this.

Tierney running around like a lost ****wit at left back has been enjoyable though.
