I don't think I could get behind it. After the disrespectful **** he's said about Wenger I can't understand why he is even being considered. That's not even taking into account his all round general ****ery.

edit: I just read Unai's comments after yesterday's match: "It's a bad result, but tactically it worked how we wanted."

Oh boy, wtf

He's completely unsuited to Arsenal anyway. His managerial sweet spot ATM is a club that can accept ugly results, can spend big money for a few seasons in search of short term success, and managing to avoid going up against Klopp/Guardiola. Managing Arsenal would be a lose/lose proposition both for him and the club.

Yeah, I also read that he said something like "I think we deserved to win, and definitely deserved it more than Wolves", which was a real brain melter

So I've just been told that Duncan Castles is close friend and basically a mouthpiece for Josie. Which either means this meeting with Raul did happen and there's a strong chance he replaces Emery; or poor Josie has been out of the spotlight so long that his mate Duncan is testing the waters for him.

Please be the latter.

He is the main mouthpiece for Jose for sure. He's a pointless enough bloke if you ignore that connection.

Surely their are alternatives to Jose? Its not as if Arsenal are fecking Wigan ffs.

Horrible any player getting an injury like that.

Might be worth putting money on Everton going down as he is by far the best midfielder they have.

Didn’t you think they were going down last year?

Tbf they are much weaker with Gueye gone but still not relegation material. They’re atrocious to watch but hard work to play against.

I thought both VAR’s were penalties. A moment of madness from Son, but not normally a career ender.
I think it was more dangerous than the textbook ‘studs=lava’ tackles. Running at pace and goes to ground, not really in control, comes from directly behind where Gomes can’t see him and makes no attempt to play the ball. Don’t think it’s a red as the rules are currently but it 100% should be.

Yep.

An absolutely disgusting challenge.

It's really grating to hear Dele Alli come out and say on Sky that it's not his fault, because it absolutely is.

Can't wait for all the 'not that type of player' comments which will deflect away from the fact he's caused a horrific injury to a fellow pro.

I bet looking for value.

Next two games are Southampton and Norwich, fail to win either of them and they are in a relegation battle.

Did I hear the commentator correctly saying there was something which happened between the two players and that part of Son's reaction was the foul? If that's true, it's awful, even if he didn't mean it to be that bad.

You've got rocks for brains if you listen to a word any football commentator says and think it's well educated or thought out.

Yeah, I'd seriously hope what the commentator said wasn't the case. By unfortunate chance I tuned into the radio just before the injury occurred so was just wondering. In any case my thoughts have been sincerely been with Gomes and his family (imagine seeing it or hearing the news as a family member- just horrendous).
