I don’t know whether the IPL is corrupt.

But what I do know is that an auction-based payment structure is the perfect design to allow, even encourage, corruption.

And the corruption could be in a completely separate tournament.

Imagine that I am a corrupt match fixer, and I have corrupted the legendary Canadian all-rounder Edward McGregor..

How is McGregor going to launder his corrupt payments?

Maybe by being on lucrative T20 contracts from Worcester Walnuts, Sydney Savages, Calcutta Chipmonks and Karachi Klingons.

The T20 auction system basically makes it easy to disguise corrupt payments as legitimate salary.

That happened in 2013 when fixing wasn't that deep. Since then at least 20 players got banned but not even a single of them is Indian. Either ACU of BCCI is really strong or they are making fool out of the cricketing world.

I am frequent on PP doesn't mean I agree with most of the BS being sad there but IPL is corrupt. It's as clear as a blue sky. To claim that its fair is a slap on the intellect of cricket fans.

IPL fanboys and Indians, in general, hate me coz in 20 years of my life, I have been able to get more Indian girls than that whole population could get in centuries.
