Before 2015, SA were consistently the best touring side in India. Embarassed India back in 2000 and won here way before that Australia team manged, and on all the subsequent tours until 2015, they were consistently competitive and gave India loads of trouble. Were minutes away from winning the series in 2010 too.

They're neck and neck with NZ for 2nd in the rankings. They've had a shocking year though.

I feel they need to prepare more batting friendly tracks at home so their batsmen can get more practice making big scores and the bowlers can learn how to take wickets in flat conditions. Plus those 200-250 par wickets unnecessarily keep visiting teams in the game.

SA where the best team in India up until the 2015 tour? Worst team is a bit harsh, considering we have only lost to SL recently prior to this? SA are struggling no doubt.

Loved that 2008-2014 SA team that went unbeaten away from home for almost a decade. Had all bases covered.
