Only one game left in Sydney and it's at the SCG. Given we're past the "carnival" stage of the Marsh Cup.

Was really tough, there were about 5 or 6 names I considered for opening but a real paucity of middle order options, was half tempted to play someone like Heazlett or McDermott in the middle order just to lengthen the batting. Loooooooooooong tail too, no spinner because none really have stood out, the best statistically has been Nair and I wasn't going to pick him for obvious reasons

Heazlett was very close to making the team, probably only didn't because I wanted a right hander up top. Khawaja was definitely considered also, only playing two games counted against him though

Heazlett and Khawaja are 3rd and 4th on the run scorer list. Both have outscored Henriques and Cooper. Even if you don't bat anyone out of position, Khawaja is easily the best number 3 so far.

As I said, Khawaja has only played half the games so far. All the players in my squad have played all four. Heazlett is definitely more unlucky than him

He's made two hundreds in as many innings and is 4th on the overall run scorers despite playing half the matches.
