That’s a massive commitment for the average family

I remember as a junior that my parents could never have afforded to send me to regionals, were I picked. It's a lot of money, but I'll bet that Social Jr will never forget it.

So WA axed Matt Kelly to fit Marsh in, completely the wrong call I reckon. They really didn't need extra batting, Bancroft at seven seems like a waste of resources to me, and Kelly bowled well in the last game

They've still got plenty of bowling, just a crap load of batting now. Imagine if Ashton Turner could bowl too.

NCN-Tye-Richardson-Marsh-Stoinis-Agar is the best bowling attack in the comp. I like the look of this side a lot

It just depends on whether NSW get to pick Smith, Warner and the test bowlers. That would probably level things up a bit.

Would love to see Short prosper in 50 over stuff and begin to develop a longer form game too. Fella has a lot of game, as the Yanks are fond of saying.

It is certainly a good WA side, but it still would be with 10 men in it. Bancroft at 7 adds nothing.

Its a silly point I brought up but basically I thought before the tournament started WA looked the best but I thought once Marsh returns the balance and players roles would change a bit (especially in the big games) that I dont think they are certainties or anything.

Poor Jack. Going from MotM to injured.

I know the WA side looks stacked but other than SA I think the other sides are looking pretty good too, particularly if NSW get their test stars back.
