Here we go again, the moment I have been waiting for for weeks now

Ferg opening a bit of a surprise, I know he has done it in a couple of the practice games but I didn't actually think they would run with it

Nice platform being set by Jake x2, now the challenge is that at least one of them needs to make it a big one. The idea behind Carey in the middle order is for him to replicate the sort of role he played in the World Cup, only time will tell if that is the correct call

EDIT: Damn, nevermind

Am looking forward to seeing whether Carey can carry that WC effort into consistent ODI and FC run making, or whether it was more of a purple patch and he regresses to mean.

I've really liked the look of Renners' bowling in the Big Bash last couple of years. Completely changed his action between 2017/18 and 2018/19 too. Went from a smooth loping Graeme Swann-type action to a clunkier more standard offie's action. I'd be curious to see what he's bowling now.

Renshaw actually looks alright as a part time offie tbh
Yeah it was this competition last year in which I realised this. I think he ended up taking 0/40 off 10 or something like that in the game I'm thinking of, but he didn't get that by jamming in darts during an innings rebuild phase. He actually bowled beautifully that day.

I've seen him come on and bowl an over or two of complete dross and get pulled before too, but there's a lot there to work with for a batsman.

Renshaw isn’t a good bowler but has massively improved his action and has some potential

Fair to say Nick Bertus remains the most impressive middle order player of the tournament thus far.

If the last two batsmen hang around with C00ps for a little while longer this could definitely end up false soon though.

What the **** was Mennie doing batting behind Zampa anyway, btw?

Richardson batting ahead of Zampa and Mennie itstl

Mennie especially should have been ahead of both Zampa and Richardson

Remember Zampa winning a game off his own blade at North Sydney a few years back, but absolutely I agree Mennie probably should have been at 8
