I remember being surprised to find that Bradman did have a lot more failures then people think.

Amazing conversion from 50 to 100, plus 0 dismissals in the nervous 90s plus an ability to turn half his 100s into 200s all big reasons why he averaged so high.

But it was common for him to follow a ton with a score under 20
In the 1936/37 Ashes, Bradman made two consecutive ducks and yet still scored more runs than Steve Smith has made in this series.
