England made 85 against Ireland.Think SA's 96 at Capetown might be the only other double digit one from the last few decades.
We have been doing that since Holder's declaring his 11 for the 1st test against India. No Cornwall, no fair.It was obvious at the time
Ahhh, that Tim Murtagh specialEngland made 85 against Ireland.
At the moment it happened, he was in a good position to get them home, and should have done so, but made a poor decision (played a shot he'd avoided the whole innings off Lyon) at it would have cost them the game. Is that really not a choke? Or do you have to have it handed to you and then you **** it up at the last minute having slowly let it slip away? No, you can't call it a choke when he was single-handedly responsible for getting them there. Just a cruel outcome.
That's not what he was saying though - he was saying it wouldn't have been a choke if Stokes had got outNah Australia choked enormously in the last five overs or so. Just lost it completely mentally, missed clear opportunities with awful decision making/basic skill execution (even if you discount Harris's catch as hard)
Australia definitely choked. Think Maximas was saying it would have been a choke by Stokes if he'd been given out LBW on that sweep.Nah Australia choked enormously in the last five overs or so. Denly off Lyon, reviewed one which turned sharply and was missing legwhat did australia lose their first review on out of interest?
Ah, it's arguable tbf. I do think they briefly lost their heads there in that over, between that shot and the run out. Australia had just lost their heads even more!Australia definitely choked. Think Maximas was saying it would have been a choke by Stokes if he'd been given out LBW on that sweep.
Lol don't you remember?what did australia lose their first review on out of interest?

Which goes to show really that this means so much to both sides that its literally impossible to actually hold your nerve sometimes and it's often a crapshoot who's going to end up winning the thing.Ah, it's arguable tbf. Can't blame him for wanting to finish it off in that over.At the moment it happened, he was in a good position to get them home, and should have done so, but made a poor decision (played a shot he'd avoided the whole innings off Lyon) at it would have cost them the game. hahahha oh yeah. thanks shaneLol don't you remember?
He got so far across but then it turned a mile all of a sudden!
I still don't actually understand what Warne meant with that. Did he suddenly believe that it turned sharply in mid-air?Lol don't you remember?

Yeah in the end the margins were incredibly fine. Some of those sixes must have only cleared the fielder by a few feetWhich goes to show really that this means so much to both sides that its literally impossible to actually hold your nerve sometimes and it's often a crapshoot who's going to end up winning the thing.
