Poor Mooen. Even at the non strikers he looks a tortured soul atm. Feel for the bloke. He seems a good fella who’s just completely devoid of form and confidence atm with bat and ball.
I remember watching him hit that exceptional ODI hundred vs SL in Lanka and thinking wafg. Maybe he’s exhausted and needs some time away from the game.

If Moeen was actually in form trying to defend would work, but he just seems shot. I just cannot see how this English tail can grind it out.
these ****s are meant to be bowling allrounders. this is the time to show it, rather than downhill skiing against tired attacks when england are well on top like any other bowler who can hit a long ball.

If Patto and *** can stay on the park and keep bowling like this Aus will be hard to beat for the next few years. If Starc can come back somewhere near his best, forget about it.
Having said this they'll probably all be injured by the end of the series and we'll be going into the oval with an attack of Bird, Neser and Matty Wade

Someone should send the Barmy Army the lyrics to my Moeen song. It's way better than that crud flibberty came up with.

Patto looking for the wicket ball instead of bowling channel which has worked all game. Rare lapse from one of our blokes this game
