Think you might be talking about Greg Loveridge. Played one Test at 20 years old, broke his knuckle and never bowled (was a leggie) then retired at 27. And is now managing director of Sir Bob Jones' company. Although it could be Drum, who retired at 28 to join the cops from memory? Now is a property developer.
