seeing Southee's attempt at that catch going one way and then the other I fear he may have early onset Alzeimers

These last two overs are crucial - can see England getting 30 off them which puts them straight back in charge

Yeah, overs like the last two are why Southee/Henry is more marginal of a call than what it appears on paper.

Guess this puts India's struggles in the last few games into some perspective.

Even England with all their firepower aren't always going to accelerate to the finish line while setting a target. You can't expect a team to pile up 350+ every single time just because they were at 180/1 after 30 overs. Dhoni's still crap, though.

Reckon we are 25 short of par. NZ bowlers made pitch look way better than it was in first 15 overs, absolutely no variation tried. Still 330 pitch though. Archer has been meh last few games. Needs to turn up

Not really, if Ferguson wasn't injured then there's no reason for Henry to be bowling at this time of the innings.

Southee's managed one good over here ... but he's still gone at 7.8 compared to Henry's 5.4, and one wicket compared to two.

Only if we had literally noone else to partner Boult at the death. But we do.
Ferguson and Boult are still only two people though, ideally you'd want 3. Best approach is to make sure that only them two bowl the last 7/8 overs, but it's not always an option. Neesham's bowling might help in that regard.

Great fightback, particularly from Neesham, Henry and Boult.

Chasing will still be hard and runs in the first 25 overs will be massive - that's where Roy and Bairstow's innings look even better in retrospect.
