Annoying to start losing wickets like this, but I've found that this tournament in particular, innings where momentum shifts like this (whether good start, then fall away, or weaker start then improve) have been really hard to judge as to whether what you end with overall is above or below par. Been a few occasions where the batting side gets off to a flyer then messes up a bit it later on, but in hindsight the bowling side probably did pretty poorly and possibly lost the match in the earlier phase.

Big part of why our opening partnership is so important and Vince is such a huge step down from Roy, even when Vince scores runs, he doesn't ever seem to take full advantage of what's on offer and his innings never feel like they set us up or put us ahead of the game at all, whereas Roy can do so really quite often

Yeah I'm very pleased with NZ's bowling last few overs but at least part of this must be down to the pitch getting slower and harder to hit on. I hope NZ's batsmen are paying attention.

This has been an amazing comeback by New Zealand. I was telling my wife earlier that any total was possible - even something over 400. I was telling her that as the bowling side you look at the situation and don't know where you're going to pick up a wicket. You're just hoping the opponent makes a mistake.
