I realise he is injured and it's very good batting conditions out there, but just imagine if Ferguson was bowling southees overs. I don't think sodhi would have done badly either. He has the odd good game.

Just quietly again but Neesham has been good today and pretty good all world cup.

Ideally as part-timer he shouldn't have to bowl more than one more over, but he will.

Didn't realise at first glance how out that run-out chance should've been.

Big wicket that.

Also shows the ridiculousness of certain people complaining about Root - it's not easy to come in and smash it everywhere.
BUT he tuk tuks the same way whether it's his first ball in the 5th over or his 150th ball in the 48th over.

Really should've hit on that run-out chance. Our fielding has looked very ordinary today, and for most of this World Cup - barring a few spectacular catches.

Nzls fielding has been the most disappointing aspect of their game this world cup for me. Kinda take it for granted that they're a gun fielding unit.

This is almost identical to the India-England match, save for Buttler coming in before Morgan.

England letting slip chance of big score. These two needs to build partnership.
With Rashid, Archer and Wood unlikely to get any runs England have quite a long tail.

Though Stokes and Morgan can't mess around for too long. It's time to hit the gas.

I hope Henry can have a decent final two overs and get a bit of death bowling confidence here. Southee and Santner likely to not go great, so we need it, as well.
