The players who've come in as replacements haven't done too badly have they? Dorf, Shami, Sohail and Afridi have all done well.
Afridi hasn't really been a replacement though. He's been stinking up the joint before the NZ game.

rumour has it nz rounded up some 5 year olds with social problems to simulate bowling to the australian batsmen.
Rare Gold here from Flem. Kiwis not called Smudge are usually sour and humourless (IRL as much as here tbf).

The fact you even had to ask this question says a lot.

As does the fact that you chose to post after a NZ loss, rather than any of their wins.

I’m surprised that you didn’t post about how slow Kane Williamson’s strike rates were during his last couple of tons TBH.
I mostly post on another cricket forum, I only show up here when there's actually something to talk about i.e. after losses, players underperforming..

After wins there's usually nothing to talk about other than praise for the players who performed

Kane has done really well and is carrying us atm. Can't say anything about SR, it's been more than good enough especially with the starts our openers have given..

C';mon, you Kiwis! Win this game; just win it!
Then you can afford to lose to England (after they have beaten India), and let them march into the semifinals. It would create a win-win situation, as they say.

Why the **** is this game the D/N one, given both teams respective time zones?
There are so few viewers in these countries it hardly matters to the BCCI revenue. Maybe they're trying to maximize english and Indian TV revenue.

Well if you want to go on generalizations - Australia is known as a racist nation. The Australian great team are while being the best at cricket also known to be cheats.

I'm firmly of the opinion we should play our bench today. In fact, I think it's our only hope of beating this rampant Aussie team. Hungry bit players vs complacent, already-qualified reigning champs? It's a no-brainer for mine.

The whole tournament has been based on two games on Saturdays, with a 10:30 start and a 1:30 start.

Would Australia v NZ have more overseas viewers than Pakistan v Afghanistan? Possibly not.
