We could do with those 50/50s going our way to be honest. :D
Umpire's call isn't what I'd call 50/50. It's out. Half the ball hitting stumps is to me pretty material. Tracking isn't that bad.

I'd only do Umpire's call when the distances are more like a tenth of the ball.

The idea is that ball tracking has an error margin of half a ball. So that's why umpires call kicks in when there is only half a ball or less hitting the stump. It's within that error range. They're not 100% sure if it would hit the stumps

Nah, the margin is better than half a ball. I don't believe it's that bad.
