Lance Cairns seems to be a good call. Kapil, Afridi, Akram are must haves in the XI. Cairns may replace Perera/Russell's slot.

Klusener - could be explosive but wasn't all time time to the degree others in the XI were. Same reason why I removed Gayle and why I didn't consider likes of Yuvraj.

Klusener was a beast. No idea what you're on.

Find it a bit lame whenever the size of the boundary debate comes up. Most of his sixes would have cleared any ground in the world. There were some 60 meters sixes but he was smart enough to hit it in the smallest part of the ground. Someone who hits a beamer straight down the ground for six has to be special.

Siraj has been admittedly trash, but Russel has just about bashed anyone who he came across.

IPL has much shorter boundaries and even worse, Indian bowlers.

Indian LO bowlers > other country LO bowlers.

But yes, scoring runs is easier than in internationals. I just think it's more a more important format than internationals, and given a choice between only performing in the IPL or T20Is, most would prefer IPL.

Shastri is an excellent shout. I'll throw Paul Collingwood's name in there too. Not many fringe AR openers. Hafeez maybe.
