Joe Root: Nothing wrong with being gay

Joe's taken a violent homophobic thug of his own into the Windies dressing room as protection. You couldn't script it. Brilliant.

Gabriel's reaction to what Root said (i.e. looking sheepish, as if he had just realised the possible consequences of what he had (allegedly) said, and hastily muttering "it's not an insult") might do for him I suspect.
Needs a third party to miraculously come forward and say they heard him say "little boy" a few days after saying they didn't hear anything. Case closed.

You will recall the evidence outside the nightclub of him taunting a couple of gay blokes a few minutes before the fight broke out, for which he was inexplicably found not guilty of assault.

Yeah, his initial defence of 'I was defending gay blokes' was countered with someone accusing him of actually taunting gay blokes. Not sure if one was proven or not

Not Terrible

Pictured: Joe Root giving the same "there is nothing wrong with being gay" speech he gives Stokes every week. Stokes now knows all the words.

Thank you Daemon, I will now accept your apology. It doesn't need to be extensive or overly grovelling. Just straight to the point.

Having watched the various footage from that night in Bristol numerous times now, absolutely none of it backs up Stokes claiming he was defending the gay couple. Frankly I just think the man was just having a complete meltdown, and was taking that out on anyone who happened to cross his path

Looks like there's a pretty serious game of Texas hold-em going on in the background.
