Only started watching cricket a few months ago then?Starc and Cummins would actually kill the likes of Bradman, Miller and Davidson. It would be more blood sport than cricket.
Just what the thread needed. A solid contribution from AMZ!Hobbs, Gavaskar, Hutton, Sutcliffe, Bradman, G Pollock, Hammond, Headley, V Richards, Tendulkar, Lara, Sangakarra, G Chappell, Ponting, Miandad, Kohli, Dravid, de Villiers, Sobers, Kallis, Gilchrist, Knott, Kirmani, Imran, Miller, Botham, Procter, Ashwin, Marshall, Hadlee, Ambrose, McGrath, Trueman, Steyn, Lillee, Lindwall, Waqar, Donald, Holding, Murali, O'Reilly, Warne, Laker, Verity.
Oh and, does anyone think Mike Brearley's captaincy would be enough to earn him a place?I feel like some controversy: Alastair Cook, Saqlain Mushtaq, Kevin Pietersen.
I was watching cricket when you were still sucking VB from your mothers teats, kid.Only started watching cricket a few months ago then?
I think he's underrated generally. I could understand him being ranked around 40-50 on this list.No mentions of Younis Khan thus far only convinces me even more that he's by far the most underrated player on CW.
Really crap from me not to name him first up since I believe he's Pakistan's best bat.No mentions of Younis Khan thus far only convinces me even more that he's by far the most underrated player on CW.
He was a slow scorer and not really a superstar. BS reasons, of course but that is why.I honestly don't even get why he's underrated. Was ridiculously consistent for ages, solid overseas numbers compared to other Pakistani greats, and one of the genuine nice guys in cricket too. Maybe because he was just a bit of a late bloomer he kind of went under the radar a bit, but it's baffling to m that he doesn't get his due. Even from his own country's fans ffs.
