it's williamson making the mistake of thinking he can win in this situation by restricting indiaWhy would you when you have two bowlers bowling 90+ mph go to Mitchell and Southee? Just doesn’t make sense
he's a pinch hitter in the gilchrist mould. can look awkward when he doesnt come off.Rishab Pant gets fair amount of runs but I have to say I've never seen worse looking batsman. He looks like 4th grade club cricketer but every effective. If he was around in the 90s he wouldn't have got a game for first class cricket. Good on him though to stick to what works for him.
I wouldn't call Gilly a pinch hitter. He has awesome technique, class player and looked very pleasing.he's a pinch hitter in the gilchrist mould. can look awkward when he doesnt come off.
pant must play in the top order for world cup..Rishab Pant gets fair amount of runs but I have to say I've never seen worse looking batsman. agree. gilchrist was pure entertainment.I wouldn't call Gilly a pinch hitter. He has awesome technique, class player and looked very pleasing.
Pant is to batting what Malinga is to bowling. Both very effective.
Yeah he does look very agricultural when he’s trying to go quick (which is most of the time)Rishab Pant gets fair amount of runs but I have to say I've never seen worse looking batsman. https://m.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news...t-spot-after-third-umpires-howler-in-aucklandThat said, it must be noted that "approved" sound-based edge detection technology (like RTS, UltraEdge) features in ICC's minimum requirement for implementing DRS in a match, but heat-based edge detection technology (like Hot Spot) does not.
I like how they've called him Baig throughout the article.
Quite possibly and I think RTS is more reliable than hotspot insofar as hotspot will (relatively) often miss an edge which RTS picks up, but surely if hotspot is showing that he hit it, that ought to be considered incontrovertible?I can be wrong but whenever there is a series in India, hotspot technology is almost never used in DRS. So maybe they consider RTS as more authentic way of telling if bat hit the ball?
The moment RTS showed nothing on the screen, Umpire immediately asked to load not out. So he was just following the rules, and not doing so might have created bigger controversy, more so for him.Quite possibly and I think RTS is more reliable than hotspot insofar as hotspot will (relatively) often miss an edge which RTS picks up, but surely if hotspot is showing that he hit it, that ought to be considered incontrovertible?
Somewhat refutes the authenticity of the article.I like how they've called him Baig throughout the article.
