Is there a bit of agg between Smith and pietersen?
Nah , they're mates but definitely 2 alpha males.

It started in first half hour yesterday. KP said Biff cover drove through square leg. Smith just settled it by saying I loved scoring runs against England Kev.

Yesterday in lunch break. Those 2 plus Mark Nicholas were talking about batting on the ground. It was fascinatingly good but hilarious how both were getting their views across. Mark Nicholas couldn't even get a word in.

Think we've gone a bit far on some of our pitches recently... seam and bounce is great but need to give the batsmen some sort of chance. This Newlands pitch has been pretty good though.
Definitely in that India series.

Thought the Aus series late in the summer was class though. That includes PE

Pakistan bowlers have been fantastic.... little unlucky, and SA batsmen shown better application than their counterparts.

okay i think i know what you're getting at now: i'm definitely not saying that the ball bouncing is the only way a low attempted catch can be not out. i'm just saying that given the severe limitations with regards to camera replays of low catches, the only thing that should be considered clear and conclusive evidence that the ball has hit the ground is visual evidence that the ball has bounced off the ground. in particular "it looks like it's touching the grass" should be objectively not considered clear and conclusive evidence of, well, anything, as it has been thoroughly demonstrated as such replays can be highly misleading due to virtually insurmountable optical limitations. that's basically my point.
