This pitch doesn’t appear to hold many demons at the moment, but on the other hand, this pair have had to fight really hard to get us here. I think 240-ish would be a really close chase.

Gripping test match - the pitch is really well balanced between assistance for the spinners, the quicks with swing/reverse and batsmen who are willing to apply themselves. I guess I was just expecting a batting fest for the first three days and this is far better.
Remind me what ball they use again - the Kookaburra that NZ are used to would have been dead after 15 overs.

Match getting away from us here. New ball should be interesting here.
Ive supported him on this forum many times.
He is a good test no5 by NZ standards.
A lot of the NZ supportes on these forums are too obsessed with technique.
If he can get runs it doesn't matter. He is an automatic pick now.
