Probably a fair comment. I think it was something I forgot to pay attention to initally but I did make sure they were better represented from fairly early on. Likewise spinners vs seamers.

Extremely pleased with the batting. Richardson was lethal on his day at number 3 and should make a decent makeshift opening batsman. Kanhai and Crowe are big, dashing run scorers and they are both at their preferred spots. Inzi provides stability to the middle order. Gower at 6, Cairns at 7, and Pollock at 8 really seal the deal wrt the depth. Russell was no mug either and one of my favourite all time keepers. Glad to have him in the side. Pollock and Bond are a fire and ice opening combo. Gibbs provides a lot of stability to the bowling line-up and Cairns to play the role of the third pacer. Shastri was an opening batsman and is a decent left arm option to have as the fifth bowler, having taken 4 wickets 11 times in tests.

Difficult to leave out Sir Gubby, and it would probably make some sense to replace Shastri with him in England.

Pretty awesome team for a mystery box. Snagged O'Reilly and Donald early on to set up a great, balanced bowling attack. I also picked Ames and Noble near the start but then doubled up with Miller and Flower who I was pretty confident would be the ones and were too good to pass up. Spent the second half of the draft trying to get gun bats with mixed success - hence being disappointed when my SL allrounder was Vaas instead of Jayasuriya.
I needed Taylor in the last round so good to see him. I predicted correctly I think 8 of 12 times.

Overall a great team for the format that has 5 top bowlers and bats down to 9.

That's an awesome bowling line-up. Got almost everything. Although I really like Stuart Clark as a bowler. Probably more than Chaminda.
