*Official* India Tour of England 2018

Hopefully England bat as badly as India did because I can't see Ishant and co bowling as well as Anderson and Woakes did. Going to have to rely on some insipid batting from England to have a chance in this game.
Good job you are playing England then to be fair. Looking forward to Woakes top scoring as you take a handy first dig lead.

This is going the 2014 way isn't it. England is to India what Australia is to Pakistan. Every time you think this side has all bases covered and then the actual match happens

So we have the entire Day 1 and large part of Day 2 rained out but we still cant have an early start. English cricket, forever with their heads buried in the sand

He's a comedian. He actually believes what he is writing that's the sad thing. He must have a negative IQ if he thinks Boult or Wagner would play over Anderson in any conditions, any wicket against any opposition.
He is a great great bowler in home conditions (and has been Hadlee-esque with the Dukes), but I stand by my statement that he'd be behind Boult and Wagner in NZ with the Kookaburra.

Boult filtered 2012-2018 24 tests 114 wickets bb 6/32 ave 24.77
Wagner filtered 2013-2018 23 tests 100 wickets bb 7/39 ave 28.49

Anderson filtered 2008-2018 7 tests 26 wickets bb 5/73 ave 32.80

Incidentally:
Tim Southee filtered2008-2018 32 tests 130 wickets bb 6/62 ave 28.68
Colin DG overall 2016-20 18 10 tests 24 wickets bb 6/41 ave 29.16

Why have you wasted your time? I said 2018 Anderson.

Also what sort of player is Pope? I'm after serious (non Catholic) answers please - although decent puns are still fine
Aggressive number 6 with a handful of first class appearances- big ask to play him at 4 in a test, but it’s looking like it might be quite a gentle introduction.

Strong on the cross bat shots har har.

Satisfied?
