If he didn't have like a record amount of red cards and a history of this, I'd be willing to think of it as an accident. But he meant it, the ****.

To be fair, they are waaaaay better than when he took over. But yeah, that doesn't count for all that much at the end of the day I guess, given it hasn't really as yet translated into any tangible success.
They're nothing like as good as they were in 2013/14 though, which was pre-Klopp and yet still only four years ago.

Nah, this team is better overall.
Nah. That side nearly won the league and barring the slip probably would have, conversely reaching a CL final having had one difficult tie does not make this team a better side when they are this far off the pace in the league.

It was a foul, he meant to foul him to break up the play which all good defenders do from time to time. He didn't mean to put him out of the game and the world cup.

Oh yeah he has done pretty well for them. They still have plenty of Coutinho money so next season it will be interesting to see how they do in England and Europe. I think its time for them to win something or at least challenge City for the premier league.
You’re saying 2019 will be Liverpool’s year?

Thank **** they lost. The number of insufferable Liverpool supporters in my generation here in Australia is immense.

Liverpool started quite well but in the end Madrid are just too good across the entire pitch. They totally dominated possession in the 2nd half.

Possibly a different game if Salah had stayed on but the one thing you could have said before the game was that with the attacking potency of both sides you had to make them work for their goals. Real got two on a platter and scored a worldie. I feel terrible for the lad but I’ve just sat through three years of the conference and would be raging at goals like the first and third in a routine league game never mind the biggest game imaginable.

The only thing I’d say about the third is that Bale scores a lot of goals that look like the keeper should save, usually free kicks, and the amount of spin he puts on the ball can deceptively make the keeper look worse. However you have to save that, no getting away from it.

The attacks on him from reds on social media are appalling though. Just stomach churningly bad.

Zidane has won more CL's than he has managed full seasons at Madrid. Wonder who will manage to stop them in that competition.

Fortunately with the WC coming up, we won't have to hear about it for too long.
