This is what the wickets list looks like:

1. Tye 24 (13)
2. Hardik 18 (12)
3. Umesh 17 (12)
4. Bumrah 16 (13)
5. Boult 15 (12)
6. Narine 15 (13)
7. Mujeeb 14 (11)
8, McClenaghan 14 (11)
9. Markande 14 (13)
10. Rashid 12 (13)

None of them would be dropped if they are not injured.
Bit harsh to compare Sodhi's wicket tally after 4 games to people who played 13. :P

Sodhi's bowled well. He has performed beyond the standard required. And will be back next year. Hopefully starting the season.

Yeah, Sodhi deserves to be picked up front for the next edition.
Would be interesting to see how he performs over a longer stretch; particularly after he gets mauled in one one odd game.

He's used to do that now. And it has happened to him before.

He's got an older head on his shoulders as he has been around internationals and dropped and what not a lot. He just bounces back.I think the Aussies got him in a game this summer and he lost his #1 ranking to Santner. Reportedly that upset him in a rival banter. But he knows eventually if they go after him - his googly will do someone all ends up eventually.

He may never achieve his ultimate goal though. Being a quality test bowler. But a t20 career is not - I repeat NOT - to be sneered at as plenty struggle to make the reverse trip too.

Real shame for Santner that he is injured and couldn't play in the IPL. After the way he batted in the ODIs vs England he could've pushed into the absolute gun T20 allrounder list ($$$$) with a big IPL

Seriously don't get Manish Pandey's deal atm. He is clearly out of touch and is making life difficult for the guys coming in after him. Even the solitary 50 he has scored is the worst of the season considering how out of touch he looked the whole time.

Giving away 70 runs in an ODI is pretty awful but to leak that many in 4 overs takes something special.

He was solid with Kolkata and Sunrisers needed a proven Indian run-scorer, however yeah by now he should be on the bench as he has not really justified his spot. Does not seem to be many obvious Indian replacements in the squad sadly tough.

He score 62 off 38 wtf are you talking about

"Looked out of touch", that's how he always looks

He's an ugly looking batsman playing in his weakest format. By all means criticise him for having a bad season, but when he actually score runs and people still criticise him, jfc...

The runs were scored after those posts tbf. He has been under par for this season for Sunrisers which is an issue as they are so reliant on the likes of Kane and Dhawan.

Hales hasn't really fired either, one good knock and some starts, better than Saha, but they need more from him.

Pandey just isn't cut out for T20s. He scored a 100 in the IPL all these years ago and people mistakingly believe that that he would be good at these as a result. He's always been a slow starter, and also can't force the pace on demand. He's just really really good at playing each ball on its merit and hitting it to weird areas with his kinda ugly technique. Fast hands, good eye, fast between the wickets, clever with his shot selection. Really he'd be a top quality Test batsman for basically any nation outside of India. And a reasonably good ODI one (which he is)

In T20s he really should be batting Top 3 to get the most out of him.

Totally agree with this, him and even Yusuf do well only when they have a lot of overs to play with. I have said it before too, if you look at their performance for KKR, they have done well when they have come in to bat with 12-13 overs in hand and even bailed out KKR from tough positions. Manish gets stuck at times and consumes too many deliveries before he starts attacking, that makes it tough for the entire lineup when he fails, he is pretty similar to Samuels. And SRH has one more player who has the same problem - Shikhar Dhawan. Dhawan can win you games when he gets going, but when he gets stuck in the middle, the amount of deliveries that he ends up wasting increases the pressure on the coming batsmen.

Deepak Hooda should replace him, he is someone who can hit from ball one, and even if he doesn't, he won't unnecessarily use up deliveries to make the task more difficult.

Pandey may be good enough to replace Rahane, biut not too many more specialist top 3 IPL non wicket keepers around.

If he cannot usurp Hales from the top 3, who can he?

I'd rather Narine open than Pandey ;)

And he aint even close to Dhawan, let alone KW.
